For Link to gain entrance into the Forest Temple, he will require the Hookshot. This spring-loaded hook allows Link to grapple over barriers, across gaps, and to pick up things which are out of reach.
Dampé's Treasure
The future has not been kind to Dampé. The old grave digger has passed on to the spirit world, but he still may be able to help Link. Look for the grave marked by fresh flowers to pay Dampé a visit.
Saria's Spirit
When Link tries to return to the Sacred Forest Meadow, he discovers that Mido is once again blocking his path. Mido would act more kindly if he knew that Link and Saria were once friends.
