When Phantom Ganon is destroyed, Ganondorf banishes its spirt to the gap between dimensions. Link then returns to the Chamber of Sages, where he is surprised to discover the true identity of the Forest Sage. He is rewarded with the Forest Medallion, and the Sage's power is added to his own. Link's effort has flushed the evil out of Kokiri Village, and his spirit is lifted when he realizes that a Great Deku Tree sprout has begun to grow in the forest. Link discovers that he is now able to return to his childhood if he pleases, but many more challenges lie ahead for the adult adventurer.
