Link learns that Princess Ruto is actually the fourth sage, and she adds her power to his by granting him the Water Medallion. This historic act rescues the Zoran people and pushes Link one step closer to putting an end to Ganondorf's rule. There are only two more Medallions to earn, and after the enduring the hardships of the Water Temple it is unlikely that Link will fail. Even though the next leg of Link's quest will require him to return to the days of his youth, his adventurous spirit will remain that of a grown man.
