When Link makes it to the second floor of Dodongo’s Cavern, his troubles are just getting started. To make any progress in his search for the Goron’s Ruby, he’ll need to find an explosive device more controllable than the Bomb Flowers.

Armos Manipulation

Link’s first challenge on the second floor is an enclosed room with four Armos Statues. Three of the statues will spring to life, but one can be moved without resistance.

Steel Trap

When Link first enters the room with steel traps, he should carefully walk to the opposite side of the room and climb a ladder to get to the Bomb Flower.

Wall of Fire

An eye is visible above the wall of fire on the opposite side of the room. A projectile weapon is the only thing that can travel far enough to reach it.

Bomb Bag

When Link finds the Bomb Bag he’ll be able to carry bombs anywhere and detonate them when he chooses. Any time you spot something suspicious, try bombing it.
