The self-styled “Boss of the Kokiri,” Mido is actually just a bully who enjoys lording over the normally meek Kokiri. Throughout Link’s childhood, Mido ceaselessly teased him for not having a fairy companion. Despite his mean streak, Mido is not a bad guy.
